Together with the Rosokhrankultura (Russian Cultural Heritage Protection Service) and KGIOP (Committee on State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Landmarks) a restoration conceptual design plan was developed and approved to adapt the building to a modern use.

The archways, historical gallery, external and internal façades were included in the building conservation area. Besides, an underground gallery will be restored which was discovered by the conservation engineers in the inner space of the complex. A proposal to reconstruct the historical gallery was put by “Nikolskie Riady” CJSC to the consideration of expert and oversight authorities.
